Facebook Statistics - June 2008

And the numbers are quite interesting. Here you can look at the spreadsheet with number of users (+ male and female) across the countries. The numbers were gathered with facebook’s advertising tool that shows the approximate number of the target group.
Here are two quick facts:
There are over 77 million active facebook users (who logged in in the past 30 days) and 51.940 out of them are from Slovenia.

The numbers for Romania don’t really add up.
8,460 total users
2,460 male
3,520 female
That leaves around 2 500 unknow gender persons, quite a lot compared to the known numbers.Can’t remember if gender was mandatory field or not though…
Yes, you are right. The gender is not mandatory and approx. 25% of all Facebook users do not specify it. That’s why there is always a gap between the numbers.
